Hamilton Watch Co. grade 4992B military hack watch 16S 22J stem wind, pendant set, adjusted to temperature and 6 positions, damascene nickel movement with lever escapement and Elinvar balance in Illinois yellow gold filled screw back and bezel open face case. The painted champagne metal 24-hour dial has Arabic numeral and hacking sweep seconds hand, s#4C16109
CONDITION:
good running order (winds, sets and ticks), the hack feature functions properly, the movement is in good condition with some moderate loss to the blacking in the movement markings and very minor oxidation. The dial is below average with losses near numerals 5 & 6 and an overall slightly discolored appearance. The case has a knife edge dent in rear cover that makes it more difficult to line up threads when screwing on.
